We have had the privilege of working with great clients who relocated outside of Houston and trusted us to design their new homes in other parts of the country.

With the new brand, we have decided that we will focus on a few areas where we will offer boots-on-the-ground, full service interior design like we do here in Houston, because our travels will be taking us into these areas quite frequently in the future.
If you are in these areas and have desired to work with our team, you're in luck!
Phoenix AZ and surrounding areas
Scottsdale AZ and surrounding areas
Northern AZ - Show Low, Pinetop Lakeside, Flagstaff, Taylor, Payson, Sedona, Williams, Snowflake and surrounding areas
Santa Fe New Mexico and surrounding areas
Remote full service interior design can be a bit challenging, because, logistically we are not there every single day like we are for our local Houston projects, but having done quite a few over the years, we know that it just requires a bit more planning, collaboration and keen attention to every aspect and every detail of the project.
What does a remote project look like?

The process is very similar to our local full service projects.
It begins with the initial design discovery conversation. We place great emphasis on gathering information about you, your vision, your goals, project budget, scope of work, how you found us and what it is about our work that attracted you to reaching out to us. We always want to understand the reasons behind everything you communicate to us.
Every firm has its unique essence – personality of the team, team culture, business approach, and mission when it comes to projects. Each firm will have their unique approach to design and what motivates them to reach their highest levels of creativity. This is an important aspect of the process to selecting a design firm -whether local or remote.
This discovery process is highly focused on you and your needs. As previously mentioned, your goals, aspirations and vision are very integral. While we love to infuse our signature, and likely why you reached out to us in the first place, it is never about us and our preferences.
The entire process is about asking the right questions to uncover your main frustrations with your current space and discovering the ideal way to transform the space – from floor to ceiling. We are diligent in guiding you through this process.
We aim to create something truly creative and awe inspiring for you, which relies entirely on the collaborative partnership we establish with you from the start and throughout the entirety of your project!

Next step is a possible trip to your home to gather all the intel we need to get your project started. But often times, we can gather this information remotely with your help.
We maintain strict standards here and keep the process pretty structured if we are gathering the information from you versus traveling to you. You will have a key role to play in the success of the project here and so it is imperative that you remain focused on providing this information as quickly as possible. We do provide you a checklist and we try not to make it overwhelming - we ask for only what we need.
The checklist may include items like:
Detailed dimensions of rooms with photos; including photos of the exterior of your home.
Samples of any installed materials that will remain in the home (or at least information on them so we can research and locate them).
Dimensions of furnishings that will remain.
As built plans and new plans from your architect if available.
Inspiration photos or anything you've been collecting that align with your vision.
Depending on the scope of your project, we may ask for additional items.
Then we get into the design phase. It is very important that we communicate our design to you in a way that you can visualize easily.

We present design boards with the actual materials, finishes and furnishings for your project. This is done in a detailed PowerPoint-like presentation, which we either send to you through video walk-through or schedule a Zoom meeting to review with you.
The design presentation is thorough and includes all elements of the design.
Prior to the presentation, we send you all the swatches we are able to acquire so you can touch and feel items as you go through the design presentation.
CAD drawings of floor plan, elevations, cabinet/millwork details, space plan with furniture placed on plans, lighting plan
Photorealistic 3D renderings that look almost like the real space will look.
Budget breakdown of all elements of the project that we are responsible for procuring for the project.
Of course you have the ability to request any revisions.
When we have final approval on all items and on the budget, we prepare detailed documentation to provide to your GC.
How do we work with your GC?

We assist our remote clients in connecting you with skilled contractors who can help complete work such as paint, wallpaper installation, decorative lighting installation if you don't have a GC and the project doesn't call for one.
We are handling every detail of the procurement and furnishings and we will work as closely as you require with your local GC. But at the very least, we schedule Zoom meetings with your GC to review the documentation for the project and create shared folders where we can share any updates or change orders along the way.
If we are in town for a site-visit, we definitely will be coordinating a meeting with your GC.
We assist with reviewing their contracts, their quotes and ensure that they have the proper licenses, references, insurance and workers compensation. We even provide them with our contractor agreement so they understand what to expect from working with our firm.
We provide them with all documentation needed to carry out their work.
We try to get a good idea of their scheduling so we can plan accordingly. This will mean that you have to be available to give them access to your home, but we stay in the mix to coordinate with all parties.
What about the logistics?

We treat logistics just like we do for local projects.
We avoid at all cost, sending products directly to your home. For some smaller items that are needed for pre-installation, we may drop-ship them, but we are doing all the tracking on the back end to make sure it gets there safely.
We will also coordinate with your GC to make sure they are available to receive the product.
For larger items we either warehouse locally with our receiver and then have them cross-country deliver for installation day, or we use a local receiver in your area.
As the furnishings and materials for your project begin to arrive at the warehouse, we are checking them in against our master list and carefully tracking to make sure all items are accounted for. We love to put our eyes on each piece as they arrive so we can manage any damage claims, and ensure there are no snafus with each piece. At the very least, we receive photos and a detailed receiving report from our warehouse on each item as they arrive.
When the big day arrives!

We will come to your location, whether by plane or car, to meet with our white-glove delivery team and art/window treatment installer, and ensure everything is set up perfectly, just as we do locally.
This is the big day that we have planned for for a long time, so we ensure that everything is seamless. If your project was a renovation, we coordinate with your GC that all checklist items have been resolved and your home is ready for installation of furniture.
We send you away for the day and get to work putting the final touches on your vision.
As part of the fee proposal we sent to you in the beginning, all travel expenses are included and paid upfront, so you can enjoy your newly installed space without having to worry about paying a final invoice.
