Featured In Modlar: Inside Our San Clemente Cinco Ranch Remodel
We are thrilled to share that one of our recent projects, the San Clemente Remodel, was featured on Modlar!
When taking on this renovation, our goal was to blend contemporary materials, sophisticated finishes, and thoughtful spatial planning to create a functional, elegant home anchored by layered textures. Here is a closer look at how we brought the family room concept to life.
The Design Vision
For the family room, we focused on striking a balance between modern warmth and classic architectural elements.
Layered Textures: Soft upholstery and neutral tones paired with clean lines to keep the space open yet cozy.
Focal Point Fireplace: A custom mantel paired with structured tile work anchors the room, offering a dramatic visual grounding point.
Natural Light & Volume: Framed high windows allow light to flood the room, emphasizing spatial depth and highlighting the intricate material choices.
Key Materials & Sourcing
Every piece in this space was selected to add character without overwhelming the floor plan:
Seating & Upholstery: Deep, comfortable seating designed for both hosting and daily living.
Architectural Hardware & Lighting: Sleek ceiling fans and warm-toned fixtures to bring balance to high ceilings.
Surface Finishes: Subtle contrast between rich wooden accents, clean paint palette, and textured fireplace stonework.
