While this does not mean that we work with every single prospective client that comes calling; it means that we make a very good effort to offer a wide range of services that make it possible for a wider range of clients to be able to hire us for various types of interior design project needs.
You see, as most designers advance in their careers, they begin to filter out and niche down. From a business perspective, this a good idea to understand your strengths and focus on the part of the market that your strength best serves. Especially when you have a very small team. Nobody wants to be a jack of all trades and master of none.
What this idea might look like in larger firms, is that they will only take on certain types of projects with certain budget levels and profit margins, or ones that are only portfolio and publication worthy, or only a certain segment of the market with very high net-worth, and so on. I've seen designers that only work with clients whose homes are worth a certain minimum market value.

Design Discovery

This is not really a service, but instead is the initial phone call that anyone who desires to work with us can schedule directly on our calendar.
The purpose of the call is to start the conversation about what your needs and pain points are with your home, what is your vision, what is your timeline, what is your expectation as far as the design process, what is your financial commitment to the project.
It is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other a bit during these 30 minutes.
From a design discovery call, I am able almost always able to determine what a client's personality is like, what their fears might be for taking on a project and how committed they will be to the process and to working specifically with our firm.
It's about asking the right questions to uncover their needs, their desires and their level of commitment.
We understand if we are one of many firms the client is interviewing, but we like to know that upfront, along with any information they can give us about their style direction, other decision makers, what team they have already assembled, what the scope of work could potentially be, and what is their idea of an investment.
We make the call as informative as possible.
The Design Discovery call is complimentary and usually lasts about 20-30 minutes.

The In Home Consultation

The in home consultation is the next step in the process. It can be used as a stand alone service where we meet with you for two hours, and help you with some design guidance and direction for a project you will tackle without our professional help beyond the consultation.
But every project includes and begins with an in home consultation. Or if it's a new construction where the home doesn't yet exist, we meet you in our studio or at your current home.
The In Home Consultation is an amazing opportunity for a prospective client to get a full-on education of what working with a professional design firm entails - and it is not a scary thing!
You will not be handing over control to some one else, or spending more money than you had planned, or forced into making style decisions that you don't love. It will be the complete opposite, where we get to know you, your style, your family life, your lifestyle, hobbies, aspirations, visions, goals.
We spend up to 2 hours in your home to assess the space looking for the potential that exists. We want to understand how you live in it now and how you want to live in it going forward. We talk about your pain points and discuss solutions on the spot.
We dream big at the consultation, exploring all the possibilities of the space.
We are able to "see" the finished space and will walk you through viable options to solve whatever pain points you are having with your home.
We discuss timeline, sources, resources, investment range for the project, and of course how we work, what you can expect throughout the process, how you prefer to work with us.

Full Furnishings & Decor

Our turn-key full service furnishings and decor service is for the project where only furniture, accessories and styling is needed. That is - the project does not require demolition and remodeling, or if any, very light cosmetic type remodeling; such as painting walls, trim and ceilings, wallpaper installation, millwork installation and upgrading light fixtures.
This is our most frequently requested signature service.
It applies to a single full room design to a major full home furnishings design.
With this service, we handle every detail from concept to final installation and styling. It is a comprehensive, seamless, high-touch design experience where we execute every single design detail with precision and artistry.
There are several steps in this process.
The design discovery call
The in home consultation
The Fee Proposal - approval and payment of design fee
The site assessment, measure and trades meeting
The presentation
The revisions - approvals and payment
The coordinating of trades people and scheduling site visits as needed
The procurement of furnishings
The administration, documentation and tracking of furnishings
The logistics - receiving, storage and finessing of furnishings
The initial installations - things like window coverings, light fixtures, hardware, wallpaper
The local shopping trip for final styling items
The coordinating and scheduling of white-glove installation
The final invoicing
The installation and styling
The walk through
The curing of any deficiencies

Our turn-key full service furnishings and decor projects can range from 12 weeks to well above that depending on the scope of the project.
With this process we are working with several vendors, artisans and trades people to create custom pieces or customizing existing pieces that will be unique to your project.

Full Renovations & Furnishings

This service is for you if the scope of work involves major remodeling, ground up new construction and additions.
Whether you already have your GC or builder onboard or not, we are involved in every stage of the project through to furniture and decor.
We integrate seamlessly within your build team or we can help you hire talented contractors and architects that fit your budget and timeline.
The process involves:
Plan review and fine-tuning
Space planning and furniture layout
Materials selection: finishes, plumbing, decorative lighting and hardware selections
Materials approvals
Materials documentation
Construction administration and coordination
Curation of furnishings and decor
Custom furniture design and production
Procurement, management and installation
This basically includes all the steps in our full turn-key furnishings projects listed above.
This process can take several months, but we remain very involved, including regular site visits to ensure installations are in keeping with the design plans we created for you.
It is a very collaborative process, where a lot of communication happens between us and client and us and the GC. Often times reselections and change orders are needed and we remain very hands on to facilitate such requests.
We typically don't take on major renovations and additions unless the furniture and decor phase is included.
We truly believe that after going through months of construction and renovations, you deserve to enjoy a fully completed home where luxury meets livability—where your home is not just designed but artfully and intentionally curated to reflect your vision, personal story, lifestyle, and aspirations.

Remodel and Renovation Support

This service is actually a favorite of mine, as it really embraces what our menu of service is all about—you choose to work with us in whatever capacity you need to move your renovation or new construction project forward.
Though we are not involved in every aspect of your renovation or new build, we keep whatever our scope of work is very structured, so you understand our role, our deliverables, our timeline and our fees.
The goal is to integrate collaboratively into a team of professionals you are already working with and managing.
Our Remodel Support Service Menu is designed to assist you at every stage of the remodel, renovation or new build process.
You may choose one or more of the service options available, from a brainstorm session to plan review to whole house materials and finish selections with 3D renderings.
The service options include:
Brainstorm Session - These can be book either for a virtual meeting where you pick my brain about any aspect of your project, or in person, where we can help you finalize your materials selections if you have your samples onsite.
Plan Review With Notes - We will review your build plans to help optimize flow and livability that suits your lifestyle needs. We provide notes of our findings that you can take back to your architect.
Bid Review With Notes - We are happy to look at your bids from your contractors to make sure the whole scope of work is accounted for and the pricing fair.
Contractor Onboarding - We can assist you with the process of onboarding contractors for your project by being present at the interviews, reviewing bids, guiding you through what documentation to look for as you hire contractors. We draw from our years of experience working with contractors to help minimize risk during the process.
Project Oversight - These are site visits that we conduct to review the work as it is being carried out to ensure it works with our design plan. Naturally this service would go hand in hand with the materials selections service and would not make sense to purchase without our engagement in other parts of the project.
Materials Selection and Documentation - We source, curate and present all the materials and finishes for your project from the exterior to interior. Everything down to the grout colors is included. Once approved by you, we document every detail for your GC or builder to be able to procure all items.

Online Design

Online design, also known as eDesign is ideal for a savvy client who wants us to create a full design for them and doesn't mind implementing the project on their own.
It is the same onboarding and design process we use for our full service projects with a few notable exceptions such as: It is all done online, the client provides their own measurements and photos and that is what we work from, and we source products through retail sources that the client will have access to purchasing versus the trade vendors and sources we use for our full service furnishings projects. The main thing to note is that the client takes over the design and does the procurement and implementation themselves.
This service is available to both local and nationwide clients.
The deliverables typically includes:
One online meeting
Floor plan with furniture layout
Elevations of key areas (per project)
Presentation board with all furnishings and materials selections
3D rendering - 1 to 2 views per room per project
1 revision
14 days email support after delivering plans

Our a-la-carte design menu gives our clients the flexibility to choose what service they need without the full commitment of a full service project.
This service is ideal for clients who are savvy and have a good handle on their own project, but need some guidance or execution of certain aspects of the project that may not be within their range of access.

Design guidance - For decorating related projects (not renovation related). These can be online or in person

Boutique Commercial & Hospitality

We provide interior design and light renovation services to commercial and hospitality clients throughout Katy and the greater Houston area.
We love to help our clients achieve luxurious and comfortable environments for their patrons and customers.
While we don't take on the commercial projects that require full gut renovation, almost all the projects we do will include a level of remodeling and personalization that will be in keeping with the business brand and messaging.
