Starting out as a new designer can be challenging. Systems to learn, processes to put in place, and developing business is a must. Often times the right help is nowhere in sight. With my 18 years running my design business, and having seen rapid growth, I am in the position to offer advice and solutions for setting up your business, putting a process in place, perfecting your documentation and contracts, setting up vendor accounts, marketing and business development, networking and more.  I will provide solutions for what's not working in your business and help you strategize through my own experience running a small design business with a very small team that has seen revenues in excess of $3M in one year. I will share strategies and systems that have worked for me in client relations, vendor relations, sales, marketing, operations, administration and finance. The systems and processes that I have put in place, have been responsible for my success. These easy to apply, common sense principles will get you well on your way to a successful design business. As a designer who is still engaged in the day-to-day operating of my own business, I am in the unique position of being able to relate to what you might be experiencing in your business. Not only am I preaching what it takes to run a successful business, I am also practicing it. I am right there in the trenches with you. Having to juggle multiple projects and be the creative talent behind the brand, and still handle the business end of things. My role is to share with you what has worked for me, and even what to avoid. I will share with you what systems and processes I have employed in my business, and at what point I started seeing great results. At the end of the day, we are all responsible for our own successes. We have to be willing to put in the work - consistent work, to achieve our goals. There is no short-cut to success; there is no magic pill. There has to be a series of actions you need to take to see results.
