Service Description

Selecting materials for a new construction home or a remodel can be daunting. Most homebuilders provide 2-8 hours of design time at their design center for selections of all materials for a new build or remodel. While there will likely be a design center representative who will help guide you through making these selections and do all the paperwork, you need someone who will advocate for you in real time and make sure that the selections you make will be in line with the functionality and style that you want for your home. Our Design Center Session is ideal for you if you are building or remodeling your home, and your builder has a designated design center where you must go to make your selections. We are happy to accompany you from start to finish to guide you as you make your selections from what they have available. We will also advise you of how to best utilize your budget or allowances for the best outcome. Our Design Center Sessions are a minimum of 2 hours. Appointments more than 3 hours long can be split into 2 sessions. For 8 hour appointments, please book two 4 hour sessions, as our calendar will not allow an 8 hour block of time to be scheduled. For 6 hour sessions, you may book it in one block of time, but we will reach out to reschedule that session to be split into two sessions. You may also book two 3 hour sessions. In our years of doing this, we find that a design center sessions should not last longer than 4 hours. Please note that we will require at least one meeting via Zoom or phone call at no additional charge to discuss design preferences and style. We also require that our design style assessment form be completed and your floor plan, elevations, allowances and upgrade options (as much as possible) be sent to us ahead of time. We are happy to meet for an in-home consultation for up to 90 minutes. An additional fee of $400 is required. You may book it separately from the service booking. If the calendar will not allow you to book sessions longer than 2 hours or if you'd like an earlier date to be considered, please send us an email at info@veronicasolomon.com with "Design Center Session" in subject line. The deliverable for this service is our presence during your design center appointment to guide you through your selections. We allow the design center representative to take the lead, but will remain vocal about the choices. No paperwork is done on our end. All payments are required prior to appointment.
