Intaglios make an excellent addition to any setting, whether it be formal, traditional, or even more contemporary.

What Are Intaglios

An intaglio is an image or design that is cut, incised, or engraved into a hard surface, such as a metal plate or stone, with the image residing in the recessed areas. This term refers to both the design etched into the material and the method of creating that design through printmaking or carving. In printmaking, ink is applied to the recessed areas of the plate and then transferred to paper. In other contexts, like jewelry, the design is carved for decorative purposes or to create a stamp

We bought this set of 12 intaglios for a client project 6-7 years ago, but ultimately didn't use them due to a lengthy delay in receiving them, and we needed to close out the project.

They have been stored ever since, unopened until just a few weeks ago, and are still in their original packaging and wrappers.

As we are currently clearing out inventory, we are ready to pass them on to a new home.

Each measures 19x12.

Please be aware that the pictures displayed are not the exact frames we have, but they are nearly identical, except the frames lack the corner details. They are beautiful frames similar to those shown, just without the additional detail.
