We were called upon to participate not just as a designer, but as co-chair for the ASID Texas Gulf Coast Chapter Showhouse in Willow Creek Ranch in Tomball Texas. We chose the smallest room in the house, which was listed as a closet on the plan. The goal was to turn it into an inspiring home office for the lady of the house. We started by giving the closet some architectural significance with the coffered ceiling and wall paneling and added some built-in storage. The walls were painted a matte black to allow them to visually recede and for the artwork and zebra rug to take center stage. Our ibex desk took center stage and a mix of patterns and color finished the bold and sophisticated story of this ASID showhouse in Tomball TX.
